A legal advocate is available to provide survivors with information about legal options. The legal advocate cannot give legal advice but can provide information about civil processes including: divorce, custody, protection orders, and immigration. The legal advocate can also provide:

  • Support through exploring legal options
  • Safety planning and resource referrals
  • Accompaniment to legal appointments and court proceedings
  • Information about obtaining legal council
